Sneha Vasti

"Sneha Vasti" is the administration of medicine in the form of oil or medicated ghee into the rectum through the anal canal by using "Vasti yanthra". Snehavasti is used for curing low back aches, neurological complaints, and gastric discomforts like constipation, etc. The medicine is retained in the body for a few hours or until a natural urge occurs.

Kashaya Vasti

Kashaya Vasti helps in detoxifying the body using medicated decoction administered through the rectum. This medication is set up by blending honey, rock salt, medicated ghee or oil, herbal paste, and herbal decoction in appropriate quantities. Kashaya vasti and Sneha vasti are done on alternative days as Yogavasti, kalavasti, and Karmavasti (8, 15, or 30 days). It promotes the health of the healthy and gives strength to the weak tissues.
